Vitamin E is a fat soluble Vitamin, most commonly found in nuts, seeds, vegetable oils and green leafy vegetables.  It is often used as a natural preservative, as it works as an antioxidant – protecting against oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress is the damage which can be caused by free radicals, which are created by frying food, drinking alcohol and smoking, even pollution is associated with oxidative stress. Vitamin E can help to protect the cells of the body against oxidative stress.

There are two forms of vitamin E used in food supplements, D-alpha tocopherol, and DL-alpha tocopherol.  D-alpha tocopherol, is the natural form of Vitamin E, at Natures Aid, our Vitamin E supplement is made using exclusively this natural form.

Natures Aid Vitamin E 1000iu is a high strength Vitamin E supplement intended for short term use.  Each gelatine capsule is free from dairy, gluten, yeast, and nuts.
