Ginger has a long history of use, spanning back over 2,500 years. There has also been a lot of interesting research carried out on this fascinating herb, which indicate it could have up to 115 active components. Gingerols are the components with the most interesting reports, which is why Natures Aid Ginger Root tablets are standardised to provide 2.5%. Each Natures Aid Ginger tablet contains extract equivalent to 500mg of dried Ginger Root.
The dried root of ginger has been shown to be more potent than the fresh root with regards to shogaol, which is thought to be the most potent of ginger’s constituents.
