Biochemically, 5-HTP or 5-Hydroxytryptophan is produced from the essential amino acid tryptophan although 5-HTP is commercially produced from the seeds of a West African plant called Griffonia simplicifolia.
Our synergistic 5-HTP Complex provides 100mg of 5-HTP in each tablet combined with 100mg Avena Sativa (oats) alongside Niacin, Folic acid and Vitamins B6, B12 and D3. The addition of Niacin and Vitamin B12 support the normal function of the nervous system and help to reduce tiredness and fatigue alongside Vitamin B6. Normal psychological function is supported by Niacin, Folic Acid and Vitamin B6, whereas Vitamin B5 helps to support normal mental performance and the synthesis and metabolism of some neurotransmitters.
Our handy 5-HTP Complex is suitable for those following a vegan diet and are free from lactose, yeast and gluten.

Take 1 tablet per day with food. Do not exceed the recommended intake.
